Founder/President for Porpoise Play Excursions, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, dedicated and focused on helping Veterans of our Armed Forces achieve peace and tranquility through Boat Excursions and various water activities.
As the CEO, my duties and responsibilities included, but were not limited to:
- Community relations
- General duties as related to the creation of Washington States first Veteran Non-Profit dedicated to healing on the water.
In addition to the duties of CEO, I continued to further the mission of the organization, which is to provide aquatic recreational boating activities on the Puget Sound to promote health and well being to the Wounded Warrior, Children with life changing illnesses and disabilities, Pacific Northwest Indian Tribes, the Elderly and their families through structured activities involving direct experiences on the waters of Puget Sound.
Nikolay is a software developer based in Tacoma WA, who creates stylish, dynamic and accessible websites, mobile apps as well as desktop applications. He has passion for creating sites and write application unique to clients needs.
I am passionate about web standards, accessibility and user experience.
He has a lot of experience in both front-end and server-side development and I build sites using WordPress, Drupal and other CMS. He have worked as a technical lead on many projects, coordinating a team of developers as well designing and developing PorpoisePlayExcursions.org
As of July Nikolay join Board of Directors to oversee all technical aspects of current and future developments with in organization.
He is currently working with a Technical team at The Bank Of New York, Asset Servicing office located in downtown Tacoma, WA as Intern. At the Bank he does developments of wide variety of application for clients needs.
In 2012, Nikolay graduated Bates Tech College with a Associate Degree In Software Development with a GPA of 3.9.
As of now he is pursuing Bachelor Degree in Information Technology and Systems from University Of Washington with expected graduation date of Spring 2015.
